Picnickers hampered by the motor vehicle

PICNIC-lovers are lacking out on beauty spots merely because they refuse to enterprise much from their cars and trucks.

Only an individual in five walk way more than a quarter of a mile from where by they park to try to eat, a survey observed.

A 3rd walked only a several yards right before opening the hamper and ten for each cent even ate within their autos.

One good reason for picknickers' absence of adventure is the total of kit they carry, such as awesome containers, transportable fridges, tables and chairs.

The survey of 2,000 people young and old by Halfords comes as the National Have confidence in released a campaign encouraging buyers to experience a picnic.

A spokesman claimed: "We know from the need for outside products how a good deal they are aspect of summer time existence."
